125 Years of the MOB – The MOB railcar: the ABDe 8/8! Naturally, it had to be part of the anniversary celebrations. There is an unconfirmed rumor that this railcar will be fully restored for the 150th-anniversary celebrations. At present, the ABDe 8/8 4001 SUISSE —which has been stabled in Lenk for some time—is still in working order, but it is no longer permitted to carry passengers. Upon closer inspection (though not visible in the photo), this beautiful railcar is in need of a major overhaul at the Chernex workshops; however, there are still a few years left until the MOB’s 150th anniversary... 17.09.2026

MOBの125周年を記念して、MOBのGe 4/4 8002機関車に特別な塗装（というよりビニールラッピング）が施されました。個人的には気に入っていますが、現代の鉄道がもう少し革新的なプロモーションデザインを選ぶべきではなかったかという疑問も湧きます。 Ge 4/4 8002は「GPX」モントルー－インターラーケンのサービスでツヴァイジンメンに到着し、現在は列車がBLSのRe 465機関車に引き継がれるため、側線に入れ替えられています。 2026年9月17日
