HexaFRET 37015 zieht am 30. April 2026 einen Kohlezug durch Neuwied. Nach einer ernsten Rüge durch die EU musste SNCF FRET als Strafe für illegale staatliche Beihilfen in der Vergangenheit 23 profitable Verkehre einstellen. Nach dieser Züchtigung erhob sich FRET aus der Asche, um ihre eigene Leistung zu verbessern, und benannte sich in HexaFRET um – da das Eisenbahnnetz Frankreichs mit einem Hexagon verglichen werden kann. 
