The MOB line between Gstaad and Schönried gains the necessary altitude in wide curves. The image shows the GoldenPass Express (GPX) PE 4068 from Montreux to Interlaken Ost, hauled by the Ge 4/4 8004 "Swisstainable," which will be replaced by a BLS Re 465 in Zweisimmen. What's special about this image: unlike the previous one, this picture doesn't show the shadowy front of the Ge 4/4 8004, but rather the sunlit rear of the locomotive. October 13, 2025
