The car tunnel trains on the AT1 route (and AT2 in high season) to Kandersteg (or Iselle) can be found photographically in a very awkward place in the Kandersteg train station and are therefore difficult to photograph. However, the route to the tunnel offers good opportunities to photograph the last BLS Re 4/4 in use. I still stayed at Kandersteg train station and was able to photograph the BLS Re 4/4 185 with its car tunnel train in the station. The train is waiting for the BLS RABe 521 to depart as R1 from Domodossola to Bern, in order to then travel as a service train towards Frutigen. January 3, 2024 

An SBB Domino leaves the Gänsbrunnen station and continues towards Moutier. Gänsbrunnen is located in the "Tahl" and can only be reached by train from the Mittelland in a very short time as the road connection requires a fairly large detour. For this reason, the Weissenstein Tunnel is now also being renovated. so that rail operations can continue to be offered on these routes in the future. The Solothurn - Moutier route belonged to the SMB, which in turn formed a joint venture with EBT and VHB and later the RM and was subsequently taken over by the BLS. June 17, 2023 
