The locomotive is hauling a freight train along the final single-track section of the Jura Foot Line—a stretch that, due to a tunnel currently under construction, will no longer be visible in a few years' time. Here the double track ends for a few kilometers and the train will run over the last single-track section of the Jura foot line. The construction work to eliminate the bottleneck in the form of a tunnel route is already underway. July 16, 2026 
