On 20 September 2022 DB 245 027 hauls one of many Sylt automotive shuttle trains into Niebüll. Siince Westerland on the island of Sylt can only be reahced by railway over the Hindenburg causeway, each car or van must take the train, resulting sometimes in disruptions because the causeway is single track and with many car shuttles, incoming and outbound passenger trains find themselves waiting for a passage.
