Far below by the lake runs the railway line from Vevey to Lausanne, on which an SBB RABe 503 (ETR 610) is currently traveling as an EC from Milan to Geneva.

At Château de Chillon, which is behind me, an SBB RABe 523 is on its way as a regional train towards Lausanne.

On the Grubenbach Bridge in Gstaad, the GoldenPass Express (GPX) is traveling from Montreux to Interlaken Ost, with the train changing gauge in Zweisimmen.

On the left in the background, St Saphorin can be seen, otherwise the view extends far over Lake Geneva.

With two Re 6/6 locomotives, the EWKV SBB Cargo freight train from Lausanne Triage to Zürich RBL via Brig and Kandersteg is traveling between Rivaz and St-Saphorin. At the front of the train is the red SBB Re 6/6 11630 (Re 620 91 85 4 620 030-7 CH SBBC) "Herzogenbuchsee" leading the train, with the Re 6/6 11624 "Rothrist" assisting behind it. The picture was taken between Rivaz and St-Saphorin at the now well-known photo spot. May 16, 2025 
