Class M7 -803 Brush locomotive in intercity livery is hauling a local train in Mar 2007. Subsequently these locos were withdrawn from all hill country routes after  a major accident and did not get a chance to work on ICE trains.

Class M7 -809 Brush locomotive seen at Mahawa in bad condition in Aug 2007. Later this was repaired and a new coat of paint was given. Refer 14706 / 14703.

16 of these  class M7 locomotives were introduced to the service in 1981. Builder – Brush and powered by  1000 HP GM V8 engines.  It is believe that all 16 are not in service. The one in the picture was taken on the mainline doing a local service in July 2012.
