The section from Finale Ligure to Andora is currently the last section of the Genova - Ventimiglia route, which still follows the original route along the sea and through the towns and is intended to be re-routed in the longer term.

On 16 september 2023 Rheincargo/HGK DE 672 passes through Ulm Hbf.

The FS Trenitalia ETR 500 052 is waiting at Milano Centrale for its imminent departure (from 14:30) to Reggio di Calabria Centrale, where the train will arrive at 23:53 after a long journey of over 1,250 km. We too were travelling to southern Italy, but our route took us along a slightly different path... 27 February 2026 
