Ex-DR/DB 219 003 stands at the Sächsisches Eisenbahnmuseum (Saxon Railway Museum) at Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf on 22 August 2026. From 1977 GDR's railways DR ordered 200 of these Romanian built Diesel locos as part of the socialist's partnerships, imposed on the wearsaw Pact and Comecon member states by the USSR. Flawed in the builds, the 200 Class DR 119, later DB 219, failed too often and became known as Ceaucescu's Rache (Ceaucescu's revenge) -these locos almost complete;ly went out of DR service before the Class 180/228 Locos that they were supposed to replace.

Ceaucescu's Rache (Ceaucescu's Wrath) 119 158 has found an asylum at the Bw Berlin-Schöneweide and is seen on 18 September 2022. Two hundred of these Romanian builsd, less than reliable locos were delivered to the East-German DR in the 1980s, earning the nickname Ceaucescu's Wrath.
