The SBB LEX RABe 522 226 is travelling as RL2 from Annecy to Coppet and is currently arriving at Annemasse, where the train will change direction for the onward journey.

First off, the EXIF date is correct – the SBB RABe 522 210 is operating as RE 56 4560 on its way to Biel/Bienne, a good month after the timetable change and the conversion of the RE 56 Biel/Bienne - Meroux to the IR Biel/Bienne - Basel SBB! The solution to the puzzle: Presumably to connect the SBB RABe 522 trains still in service in the Jura region to the maintenance depot in Biel/Bienne, a train pair runs as RE56 from the Pruntrut region to Biel/Bienne and back from Monday to Friday. The SBB RABe 522 210 is traveling as RE56 4561 from Bonfol to Biel/Bienne and is leaving the MLB BLS station Grenchen Nord. January 13, 2026

Allereerst is de EXIF-datum correct – de SBB RABe 522 210 rijdt als RE 56 4560 op weg naar Biel/Bienne, ruim een maand na de dienstregelingwijziging en de omzetting van de RE 56 Biel/Bienne - Meroux naar de IR Biel/Bienne - Basel SBB! De oplossing van de puzzel: vermoedelijk om de SBB RABe 522-treinen die nog in dienst zijn in de Jura-regio aan te sluiten op het onderhoudsdepot in Biel/Bienne, rijdt er van maandag tot vrijdag een treinstel als RE56 van de regio Pruntrut naar Biel/Bienne en terug. De SBB RABe 522 210 rijdt als RE56 4561 van Bonfol naar Biel/Bienne en vertrekt vanaf het MLB BLS-station Grenchen Nord. 13 januari 2026 
