Although "rail buses/Schienbus" actually replace the steam locomotive, they are undoubtedly welcome as a "branch line savior (Nebenbahnretter)". In that respect, I like them too, like this picture.

Hi there Stefan, I'am a Fan of those in Krefeld Uerdingen builded railbuses. The where rigth that what was needed the sekundäre links from an much more earlier closing. EL 18 2252 at Styvisethhaugen on the Flåm Railway. The Flåm Line (Norwegian: Flåmsbana) is a 20 kilometer long railway line between Myrdal and Flåm in Aurland, Norway. A branch line of the Bergen Line, it runs through the valley of Flåmsdalen and connects the mainline with Sognefjord. The line's elevation difference is 863 meters. It has ten stations, twenty tunnels and one bridge. The maximum gradient is 5.5 percent. Date: 12 July 2018. (to the image) 
