The last train from Wiener Neustadt to Vienna on 15 September 2024 was this RailJet with mundane red 1216 006 pushing. From 14;00 that day, massive flods took out all railway lines to and from Vienna. Having arrived with 40 minutes delay from Murzzuschlag, this train will leave Wiener Neustadt with an extra hour delay whilst getting completely overcrowded. Next day, storm BORIS took out almost the entire Austrian railway network, sparing only the Tyrol.
L'ultimo treno da Wiener Neustadt a Vienna il 15 settembre 2024 è stato questo RailJet con la ordinaria 1216 006 rossa in spinta. Dalle 14:00 di quel giorno, inondazioni massive hanno interrotto tutte le linee ferroviarie da e per Vienna. Arrivato con 40 minuti di ritardo da Murzzuschlag, questo treno partirà da Wiener Neustadt con un ritardo extra di un'ora, diventando completamente sovraffollato. Il giorno successivo, la tempesta BORIS ha messo fuori uso quasi tutta la rete ferroviaria austriaca, risparmiando solo il Tirolo.

ÖBB 1044 207 - in nuove livree, ma con il vecchio emblema a forma di 'S', è arrivato a Brennero con un EuroCity FS. This DMU once connected Berlin and Wien via Praha in the 1960s fast international services, possible due to Austria being a neutral country during the (First) Cold War between 1947 and 1989. This DMU has ben restored to fully operational status.

Questa automotrice diesel collegava una volta Berlino e Vienna via Praga nei servizi internazionali veloci degli anni '60, possibile grazie al fatto che l'Austria fosse un paese neutrale durante la (Prima) Guerra Fredda tra il 1947 e il 1989. Questa automotrice è stata restaurata e riportata a piena operatività.
