In the station "Pied du Barrage" on 1'800 metres about sea level. View through the loco cabin, photo taken from the platform. To see is the highest mountain of the Alps, called "Mont Blanc". In the valley, 700 metres deeper than the railway line situatet, the village "Vallorcine" is to see (just on the other site of the national boarder to France). 02 July 2011
