TX Log 193 257 hauls an ampty refuse train through Donauwörth on 17 May 2023. Note the traces of the removed SBB Cargo stickers. Begin 2023, the city authorities of Rome signed a contract with a big Dutch refuse incinerating company at Amsterdam to get rid of hundreds of tonnes household refuse after the closure of a massive refuse belt near the Italian capital. Desperate to get rid of the refuse, Rome went to great lengths -literally- to find a solution. The Dutch incinerator receives on weekdays refuse by train from Italy, hauled by TX Logistics and the empty trains return to Italy, as seen here at Donauwörth.
