Er lijkt enige interesse te zijn voor de Zwitserse stoomlocomotief 01 202 met haar extra trein in Neustadt (Weinstrasse) op 31 mei 2014 tijdens het Dampfspektakel in Rijnland-Palts.
Op 18 september 2016 staat WFL, de voormalige RaiLioN 232 901, in Berlin-Schöneweide.



Rabbit 218 833 staat op 20 september 2016 aan de kant bij Hannover Hbf. Klasse 218.8 werd gebruikt voor incidenteel vervoer van gestrande ICE-treinstellen. Tegenwoordig worden de laatste motoren van deze klasse ingezet voor autovervoershuttles tussen Niebüll en Westerland op het eiland Sylt.

DB 218 397 has coupled herself to a Class 101 with her IC service to Hamburg from Stralsund via Lübeck and Rostock in Lübeck Hbf on 18 February 2026. Due to construction works between Hamburg and Rostock, a detour via Lübeck Hbf was on order -including a change of travel direction and traction, since Lübeck <=> Rostock is still not under the wires. To cut something of the delay, the electric loco stays on the train.
