Since autumn 1984, I lived and worked in Berlin, but since August 8, 2011, I have been living in Braunlage in the High Harz, whose landscape fascinates and inspires me so much.
Besides photography, painting is actually the most important thing for me. I have been painting and drawing since my second year of life. In addition, I enjoy hiking and cycling through nature.
1978 - 1984 Studies in Fine Arts in Mainz.
Since 1993, I have developed a very unique style of light painting. To enhance the beauty of color, I decompose the light in my figurative paintings into spectral colors. Numerous pictures appear as if flooded with radiant sunlight, while others create almost three-dimensional spatial effects.
