Geboren in 1957 in Lier, een kleine stad ten zuidoosten van Antwerpen. Sinds 1990 woonachtig in Antwerpen. Professionele loopbaan: Chemisch ingenieur in de luchtvaartindustrie 1980-2022. Nu met pensioen. Sinds 2003: Vliegtuigspotter fotograaf op luchthaven Antwerpen, zie Jetphotos en Planespotting.be Sinds oktober 2023 tramspotter fotograaf, tot nu toe alleen in Antwerpen Actieve treinspotter sinds 03-2025.
