Op 23 september 2014 bewaakt 52 5679 de ingang van het spoorwegmuseum in Falkenberg (Elster).
Op 4 augustus 2019 wordt de IC-Direct getrokken door 186 142 en passeert Tilburg Oude Warande.



Op 8 april 2017 was het weer ongunstig, maar 24 004 kwam toch bij de draaischijf in Dresden-Altstadt tijdens de Dampfloktreffen. Pas thuis realiseerde ik me dat door de richel van de draaischijf, waar 24 004 op staat, de locomotief lijkt een evenwichtsoefening uit te voeren.
