Regarding the photo location: it is on the street that is not closed to train traffic (see geolocation). The train is also standing in front of a signal indicating a stop, as the street is still open to (road) traffic.

The TRN (TansN, ex cmn) BDe 4/4 N° 3 waits in Les Brenets for the return journey as R 24 to Le Locle. The route was actually supposed to have been laid at the end of 2023, but the storm damage caused on July 24, 23 was repaired and the railway should now continue to run until 2031. It should be noted that the BDe 4/4 3 and 5, manufactured in Italy in 1950, have now been in use for 74 years! If there were an increase in  sustainability  it would probably be  BDe 4/4 N° 3 ... Bay Line Railroad EMD GP38 501 (second generation) shunted freight cars in Panama City, Florida. The Type B-B Road Switcher diesel locomotive was built in August 1969 by Electro Motive Division (EMD) under the serial number EMD 35170. I interpret “Road Switcher” as a mainline and shunting locomotive. A smaller CV of the locomotive: built for the Gulf, Mobile & Ohio with number 707, later to Illinois Central Gulf with number 9526, subsequently to Paducah & Louisville with number 2000 and from 1990 to the Bay Line with number 501 ; The number 501 was previously occupied by the GP7 from 1952.

The Bay Line Railroad was founded in the early 20th century. At that time, traffic in the ports increased steadily and a modern port was built in Panama City, Florida. This subsequently required a railway line to transport the goods to and from it, which was then built from Panama City to Atlanta, but was never able to have the successful traffic that was expected. Today the FGV (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitats Valenciana) operates various regional routes in the Valencia region and Alicante as light rail (tram) and in the cities metro lines. Several years ago, classic (narrow-gauge) railways ran across the country, such as on the Alicante - Denia route. This picture from Calp / Calpe comes from this time, which is not entirely convincing in terms of quality, but is irreplaceable, but sketches the historical situation of the Calp / Calpe train station from that time.
